MUST HAVE TAKEN: Flush "Setting Silver Ring Class" to take this class. You will be sizing your ring, setting the center stone. This is a 5 hours long class, and is open to students who have taken jewelry making 3 in one & Setting Silver Ring Class. The term gypsy ring refers to the setting of the stone: mounted flush with the metal. It was also common for symbols like crescent moons and stars to be carved into gipsy rings, adding femininity to what might otherwise be seen as a more masculine setting. What is a flush setting? The flush setting, also known as “gypsy” setting, sets a gem into a drilled hole in the metal. This means the gemstone sits flush with the surface of the metal and does not protrude. It is visible from the top, while its sides and bottom are embedded in the metal. Class size minimum is 2 and maximum is 3. If the minimum is not met, class might be rescheduled.
We understand that things come up. If you are not able to make a scheduled class, please call us as soon as possible at 916-350-0546 and we can reschedule your class. No refunds allowed.
