Rockhounding, or amateur geology, is the recreational study and collection of rocks, gems, minerals, or fossils from their natural environments. Rockhounds are the people who cannot pass by a pretty rock without picking it up for a closer look. We are leaving on Sunday AUG 8 from The Studio 26 at 0700 and are going to meet at Lakeview Oregon at the campground. There are also hotels for the non campers. We will stay there Sunday and Monday night. We will mine both Monday and Tuesday and then leave for home Tuesday afternoon. https://maps.apple.com/?address=Lakeview,%20OR,%20United%20States&auid=14967656454639914499&ll=42.190163,-120.345628&lsp=6489&q=Lakeview&_ext=Ch8KBQgEEOIBCgQIBRADCgQIBhADCgQIChAMCgQIVRAHEiYp1IIXfQUVRUAxfT7KiAsYXsA59DHEVnUaRUBBOIdrtYcVXsBQDA%3D%3D&t=m http://www.highdesertgemsandminerals.com/html/written_directions_to_spectrum_mine.html
