Service Description

This beginning ring class will consist of making ONE silver filigree adjustable ring. Why is called filigree: Ornamental work formerly made with grains or beads is called filigree. It comes from an Italian word made from the Latin words for thread and grain. Today filigree is usually of fine wire of gold, silver, or copper, and is used chiefly to decorate gold and silver surfaces. Filigree is a form of intricate metalwork used in jewelry and other small forms of metalwork. In jewelry, it is usually of gold or silver, made with tiny beads or twisted threads, or both in combination, soldered together or to the surface of an object of the same metal and arranged in artistic motifs. Class size minimum 2 and maximum is 3. If the minimum is not met, class might be rescheduled. Experience: Requires a 3 in 1 beginning class and some level of experience, but dont worry we will help you!
