95 US dollars
4100 Cameron Park Drive

Service Description

A beginning silver bezel setting ring typically refers to a ring designed with a bezel setting, which is one of the more straightforward and more secure ways to set a gemstone. You will create ONE ring. In this setting, the gemstone is surrounded by a thin metal rim that holds it securely in place. The metal (in this case, silver) wraps around the gemstone's edges, offering good protection and a sleek look. This setting is often recommended for beginners because it's relatively easy to execute and doesn't require complex prong settings. Beginner designs are often simple, focusing on mastering the basic techniques of creating the bezel and attaching it to the ring band. Creating a silver bezel setting ring involves a few basic steps: Preparing the Bezel involves cutting a strip of silver to fit around the gemstone and then soldering the ends together to form a complete circle. Soldering to the Base: Attach the bezel to a base plate or directly to the ring shank (the ring's band). Setting the Gemstone: Place the gemstone inside the bezel and carefully push the metal edges over the stone to secure it. Finishing: Polishing the ring to achieve the desired finish. For beginners, kits and tutorials often provide step-by-step instructions and the necessary materials to create a simple bezel-setting ring. The class minimum is 2, and the maximum is 4. If the class minimum is not met, the class might be rescheduled. The class is approximately 3 hours long.
